Production
Otis organized the entire project and was responsible for the coordination of over 20 collaborators.
Script & Storyboard
The entire film was written by Otis. Each scene was accompanied by storyboards created by him to make the ideas as clear as possible for the executive production.
Directing
In addition to writing the film, Otis directed the feature film along with the executive production ‘Pentamedia’.
Post-Production
Pentamedia took care of the management and finalization of the editing created by Otis in order to make the project optimal for movie theaters.
Music Composition
Nicolas Bianco was in charge of the composition of the soundtrack with Otis as producer. These works have received several awards in the world.
Introduction
The film project “Jiyan: the life” was created entirely by us, in partnership with Pentamedia (Sion, VS). Making a feature film remains an interesting challenge. And even more so when it can have a limited budget despite great ambitions.
That’s why we tried to adapt an optimal result that could depend as little as possible on a specific budget. We therefore had to analyze the whole project: its history and rhythm, the financial situation, the cast and the actors, the technical means and the objectives.
Once the project was analyzed, we were ready to reach the next goal: to compete for international film festivals.
“Jiyan: Life” finally won 19 awards (New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, London, …) as well as a dozen nominations around the world.
Finally, the objectives were drastically exceeded.
